GLASS COMPARISON
- The heat loss value of a window is shown by the U value. The place where the greatest heat loss occurs in the window is the glass.
- The heat loss value of glass is shown as Ug, and the heat loss value of a glazed window is shown as Uw. The lower the U values, the more energy is saved.
- With double and triple glass options, the heat permeability of the windows is reduced, heat insulation is increased, and thus energy savings are achieved.
- Increasing energy costs have increased the use of this type of glass. Even higher savings are achieved with argon gas and special glass bead applications between the glasses.
- Insulated glass reduces fuel consumption in the winter and also saves on air conditioning in the summer.
- Using double or triple glass not only saves energy but also significantly reduces noise coming from outside.
- Choosing different thicknesses of the inner and outer glass panels breaks sound frequencies and increases sound insulation.
- It is a system obtained by applying an invisible coating to the glass surface.
- Insulating Glass Systems made with Low-E Glass reduce heat loss by 77% compared to single glass and 50% compared to ordinary double glass.
- Prevents windows from getting cold in winter.
- Prevents the passage of ultraviolet (UV) rays, which cause the colors of objects and fabrics to fade, by 76%.
- It is produced by coating a special film between two glass plates by heat.
- Laminated Glass is a safety and security glass.
- It minimizes the risks caused by glass breakage by keeping the pieces in place in case of breakage.
- It provides security against external impacts.
- It prevents/delays entry in case of attacks and theft attempts with tools such as stones and sticks.
- It contributes to sound insulation.
- It prevents the passage of ultraviolet (UV) rays, which cause the colors of objects and fabrics to fade, by 97-99%.
- It is also used in double glazing units, providing safety and security as well as heat insulation.
- Effective heat control is provided with Low-E coated laminated glass.
- The tempering process is the process of heating the glass to temperatures between 600°C - 650CC with special heating systems and then cooling it suddenly with air.
- While normal glass breaks into sharp pieces and can cause injuries, tempered glass breaks into small, blunt pieces when broken.
- Therefore, the risk of injury is minimized.
- It is 4 times more durable than normal glass.
- Reflective Glass is used to provide heat insulation.
- It reflects back with its mirror feature and saves energy that would be spent for cooling.
- In the summer months, it prevents sunlight from entering the interior.
- It prevents the interior from being seen in daylight. The outside can be seen from the inside.
- It can be produced in colors such as bronze, smoke, blue, green.
